The Doctor of Education program in the Science of Learning with Language and Literacy concentration prepares educational leaders able to translate research into practice to impact educational systems and promote equitable language and literacy practices effective for all learners. This program is designed for experienced educators, speech language pathologists, and related professionals eager to expand their leadership capacity and sphere of impact. This 60 credit program is grounded in the science of learning and can be completed by the working professional in 36 months. Online courses are supplemented by annual on-campus summer institutes. This program is structured using a cohort model.
Certain prerequisite course requirements may be waived for admission at the discretion of the program. However, all required coursework-including any waived prerequisites-must be completed in order to satisfy program requirements to earn the degree.”
