Registration Procedures
Students will be provided with an academic plan that can be used for self-registration for future semesters. If students wish to register for courses out of sequence with the original academic plan provided to them, they should consult their academic advisor.
Course registration is online for all programs except Graduate Music Education. Please follow the instructions below:
- All students request to register for classes each session at www.gordon.edu/graduate/register.
- Students will be sent a notice from the Graduate Office within 2-3 days confirming they are registered for the course. The notification will include additional instructions on preparing for classes.
Graduate Music Education. Course registration is coordinated by email with the Graduate Music Education Program Coordinator.
Students registered for class(es) will be billed directly by Student Financial Services through Transact on the student’s my.gordon.edu web account. Any student who has an account balance will not be allowed to register until the balance is paid. Questions regarding student bills should be directed to Student Financial Services. See the financial section for more information.
Students seeking a degree and/or licensure may register for up to 9 credits prior to formal acceptance. After the completion of 9 credits, formal acceptance into the program is required for further registration.
Summer Registration Policy for Graduate Programs in Education. Due to the compact nature of summer courses and to assist the Graduate Education Office and faculty in planning summer course locations and materials, students must register for them one week (7 days) before the start of a course.
Course Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal from a course is official when written notification is submitted to the respective program as indicated below. Nonattendance does not constitute an official withdrawal; students will be held responsible for all related tuition and fees.
