Master of Social Work Pathways


Eligible students interested in a Master of Social Work may choose one of the pathways outlined below.

Dordt University

Students will complete the social welfare major as usual. Students earning a C or above will receive credit for the equivalent Dordt course as shown.

Roberts Wesleyan University

A 4+1 MSW Degree Program between Roberts Wesleyan University and Gordon College will allow eligible students in the social welfare major to complete their Master of Social Work degree in five years through a combined Gordon College and Roberts Wesleyan curriculum. 

Students interested in the Roberts Wesleyan program must complete the following courses online through Roberts Wesleyan University; courses will also fulfill major requirements as applicable. A minimum of 20 credits of Gordon College coursework in the major is required.
