Candidates must complete the 30-credit hour program with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. No more than two courses (6 credits) may be transferred into the program and those courses must meet the standards of the courses offered (see transfer credit). All field hours must be completed and all tests required for licensure in Massachusetts must be passed before the practicum may begin.

** For those seeking licensure, please complete the following: 1. Pass appropriate tests for the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure before beginning practicum including the Communications and Literacy test if not taken during initial teacher licensure program and 2. During the practicum, take EDU 741 - Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement Course for Administrators which is a required course for MA state licensure, not part of degree program. If taken prior, EDU 641 - Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement Course for Teachers can substitute for EDU 741.
