Physics (B.A.) 3-2 Engineering

Students attracted to a Christian liberal arts curriculum who are also seriously considering an engineering career may choose to spend three years at Gordon and then apply to transfer to an accredited engineering institution for two more years to complete the program. 3-2 Engineering students will receive a B.A. degree in Physics, but will also complete coursework intended to prepare them for transfer to an accredited program at an engineering institution, from which they may earn a B.S. degree. In addition to Gordon’s Core Curriculum, the following courses should be taken at Gordon, with a minimum grade of C minus (C - ) required in:
- EGR 125
- EGR 293
- EGR 294
- PHY 121
- PHY 122
- PHY 221

Engineering courses
These courses are cross-listed with their physics counterpart. Physics and support courses
Engineering School
Students will work with their advisor to find an appropriate engineering program to complete the engineering requirements for the major. Relevant courses will transfer back to Gordon College in order to complete the major and earn the BA in Physics with a concentration in Engineering Physics. |
