Business Administration (B.A.)

Students will complete the requirements below along with the undergraduate core curriculum 

Required Courses


The School of Graduate, Professional and Extended Studies offers three distinct majors in Economics and Business: accounting, business administration and finance. Students majoring in business administration may also elect to complete a concentration in management or marketing. Students may choose only one concentration. Double majors must completely satisfy the separate requirements for each major. Triple majors in the department are not permitted.

Students must continuously maintain a 2.0 GPA within the major. All students majoring in accounting, business administration, or finance are required to take the following courses:

Major requirements


The business administration major may be completed with or without a concentration. All business administration majors will complete the following two courses and two upper level electives.

Upper Level Electives


Two of the following courses (8 credits):

Note


Double majors in accounting and business administration will not be allowed to use the following courses as electives for their business administration major: ECB 352 ECB 353 ECB 362 ECB 364 ECB 443 

Concentrations


Students majoring in business administration may also elect to complete one concentration in management or marketing as an alternative format for the business administration major; more than one concentration in the major is not allowed. Upper level ECB courses will count towards the electives requirement in the major.

Management Concentration


In addition to the required courses listed above, students will complete 16 credits from the courses below.

Marketing Concentration


In addition to the required courses listed above, students will complete 16 credits from the courses below.
