Majors within the School and Common Requirements
The School of Business offers six distinct majors in the business field: accounting, business analytics, business management, entrepreneurship and innovation, finance, and marketing. These majors require a common set of introductory-level courses called Foundations of Business. Students majoring in business management may elect to complete a concentration in small business management or human resource management; students may choose only one concentration.
The School of Business also offers majors in economics and sport management, and, in conjunction with the Adams School of Music and the Arts, offers a major in digital marketing and communications.
The requirements for each major or minor are listed on the respective Program page below. Double majors within the School of Business are allowed, but students must have at least four courses (16 credits) which are uniquely counted to each major. To complete a major and a minor which are both within the School of Business, at least two courses (8 credits) must be uniquely counted to the minor.
