MPH 505 - Introduction to Health Policy(3) Introduction to Health Policy is an introductory study of public health policies. Topics covered include the policy-making process, comparisons of healthcare systems, building coalitions, advocating for policies and programs to improve health, and evaluating the impact of policies on public health and health equity. Special emphasis will be placed on communicating health information effectively and the importance of cultural competence.
