Further develops preservice teacher’s conceptual and technical skills in reading assessment. Preservice teachers look at assessment of student performance as it aligns to instruction and curriculum. Examines role that validity, reliability, test bias and item construction play in ensuring a quality and meaningful assessment instrument.
