Requirements
A major in philosophy consists of 40 credits excluding PHI 118 . History of Philosophy (4 credits):
Knowledge, Truth and Method (12 credits):
Faith and Reason (4 credits):
One of the following: Virtue and Value (8 credits):
Existence and Being (8 credits):
Senior Seminar (4 credits):
Double Majors
Students who have declared a major in philosophy and wish to add a second major, or students who have declared another major and wish to add philosophy as a second major, must meet the following requirements: History of Philosophy (4 credits):
One of the following: Knowledge, Truth and Method (8 credits):
Faith and Reason (4 credits):
One of the following: Virtue and Value (4 credits):
Existence and Being (4 credits):
Senior Seminar (4 credits):
Electives (8 credits):
- Two additional philosophy courses at the 200 level or above.
