Registration Deadlines

The following summarizes the deadlines to be observed.

Deadline to register for the semester		August 30	January 25
	Summer Term: Two business days prior to start of online courses; first day of class for traditional courses.

Last day to add courses or change sections, including independent work or NECCUM cross-registration	Full Term	August 30	January 25
	Quad 1,3	August 30	January 25
	Quad 2,4	October 21	March 24

Last day to drop courses with no academic record		August 30	January 25
	Summer Term: First day of class for online and traditional courses.

Last day to withdraw from courses with a W grade*	Full Term	October 28	March 30
	Quad 1,3	September 23	February 17
	Quad 2,4	November 11	April 13
	Summer Term: Ten business days following the start of the course.

Last day to submit remaining requirements and change incomplete to a grade	From Spring or Summer term		October 12
	From Fall or January Term		March 8

A $10 fee will be charged for each withdrawal made after the fifth day of a semester. Students may withdraw from a class through the fourth week of a quad class or the ninth week of a full-semester course. A “W” will be recorded on the permanent record. After the deadline the grade may be an F.

Billing is based on total credits registered for during a semester, less refunds for courses dropped. Thus, withdrawing from a course after the 100% refund deadline does not remove hours from the tuition block. Adding a quad 2 or 4 course may increase tuition as billing is based on total hours, including withdrawals.
