Reexamination of contemporary theory and research in human development from an interdisciplinary perspective. Biological, cognitive, and psychosocial changes are explored from infancy to adulthood. Special emphasis placed on brain development and its impact on education and learning. Students encouraged to apply knowledge of human development to educational case studies. Ethical considerations are investigated within the discipline.
