Biology - Ecology & Conservation

The Ecology & Conservation concentration is recommended for students with a passion to study biology associated with biodiversity patterns, populations, communities, ecosystems, biomes, and their ecological interrelationships in the natural world. Biology courses will apply as major electives as needed.

Required courses

BIO 304 - Conservation Biology (4)
BIO 310 - Ecology (4) *
BIO 440 - Landscape Ecology & GIS (2 or 4) * With or without BIO 441 - Landscape Ecology & GIS Lab (2)

Notes

BIO 321 - Molecular Cell Biology (4) is recommended for students who wish to attend graduate school in Ecology & Conservation.
*Appropriate courses from the Au Sable Institute or the Creation Care Studies Program may be substituted.
