History - Early Christianity

The concentration (for history majors) and minor (for non-history majors) in Early Christianity introduces students to the world of the early church. The program provides a historical context for the growth and global spread of Christianity and equips students with the analytical and language skills to pursue research on early Christian texts.

Course options
Choose at least 12 credits from the following courses. At least 8 credits should be history courses.

Language requirement
Two semesters (8 credits) of one relevant ancient language is required. Options include:
