To minor in physics, students must complete the following requirements. Additional physics training beyond this minimal level is strongly recommended.

Requirements

PHY 121 - Introductory Physics I (4)
PHY 122 - Introductory Physics II (4)
PHY 221 - Mathematical Methods in Physics I (4)
PHY 293 - Mechanics (4)
PHY 294 - Mechanics Laboratory (2)
At least 8 additional credits of physics courses with course numbers greater than or equal to PHY 211, and as selected in consultation with your physics faculty advisor.
