The effectiveness of schools and their organizational vitality is dependent on the people who comprise the staff and the ability of the leader to creatively shape school goals through them. To administer effectively, the leader must possess those skills, knowledge, and dispositions that best enable him/her to lead and manage adults. This course focuses on the need for comprehensive and clearly written policies together with efficient organizational structures to support an effective human resource program. This course will introduce and investigate strategic planning and its role in assisting school leaders in examining current realities and defining the vision for the future.
