BIO 305 - Medical Biotechnology(4) Explores the range of applications for biotechnology in the medical sciences: as a diagnostic tool, as well as for the treatment of disease and prevention of disease. Students will learn about the history of medical biotechnology by reading some key scientific journal articles. The course will also cover major recent advances in this field. Students will explore ethical issues regarding the use of available biotechnology. (Alternate Years) Lab fee
