PSY 341 - Moral Cognition and Action(4) We live in troubled times, and thoughtful consideration of moral issues is more important than ever. In this discussion and journal-based course, we address such questions as: How do people become spiritually mature, morally responsible, ethically able? Why do some people become immoral? We will also consider moral feeling, thinking, and acting across the life span; cultural definitions of morality; and the meanings of goodness, altruism, and martyrdom. Prerequisite(s): PSY 180 and one additional course in psychology or permission of instructor.
