SOC 411 - Contemporary Social TheoryCredits: 4 Surveys prominent schools of 20th-century social thought. Links developments in sociological theorizing to broader intellectual trends of period. Perspectives surveyed include phenomenology, symbolic interactionism, functionalism, neo-Marxian theory, structuralism and poststructuralism, feminist theory, and rational-choice theory.
