ART 102 - Drawing I

Emphasizes observational drawing, employing a variety of drawing materials, methods and subjects. Technical and expressive approaches employing Western and non-Western traditions explored as means to cultivate perceptual ability and conceptual thinking. Foundational drawing skills developed through study and effective use of line, value, mass, composition and spatial organization. Spring semester section may be open to nonmajors. Lab fee.
