Return to: Majors and Programs
Social impact ministries seek to join God’s redemptive activity for human flourishing. Guided by the Gospel’s liberating power that brings together love of God and love of neighbor, the Christian ministries major with a concentration in social impact ministries will prepare students to be transformative leaders in the church and society by contributing to ministries that advocate for shalom in both local and global contexts.
The social impact ministries curriculum builds upon the core-set of courses in Christian ministries in conjunction with a range of interdisciplinary courses. Graduates will be able to move into careers as social innovators, service providers, entrepreneurs, and community developers.
