Education Minor

The education minor provides a study of the foundations of schooling, teaching, and learning and helps students develop basic teaching skills. This minor is intended for students interested in:

  • Teaching subjects for which licensure may not be required (e.g. Bible or theatre);
  • Exploring education before enrolling in a graduate level initial licensure program;
  • Becoming a director of an Early Care Center;
  • Youth or children’s ministry;
  • Teaching community-based adult education courses;
  • Conducting professional development or vocational training;

A minimum of 20 credits required, chosen from the courses below.
