Requirements

Students majoring in mathematics must complete the following courses, with no grade below C-minus in any course required for the major.

MAT 121 - Calculus I 4 credits
MAT 122 - Calculus II 4 credits
MAT 222 - Calculus III 2 credits
MAT 225 - Differential Equations 4 credits
MAT 231 - Transition to Higher Mathematics 2 credits
MAT 232 - Linear Algebra 4 credits
MAT 391 - Vocational Seminar 1 credits
MAT 491 - Senior Seminar 2 credits
CPS 121 - Introduction to Programming 4 credits

One of the following courses:

PHY 121 - Introductory Physics I 4 credits
NSM 202 - The Scientific Enterprise 4 credits

Upper-level course requirements

16 additional credits in mathematics at the 300 level or above
Only one instance of MAT 381 - Independent Study in Mathematics is allowed, regardless of number of credits.
