Education Minor

The education minor provides a study of the foundations of schooling, teaching,and learning and helps students develop basic teaching skills. This minor is intended for students interested in the areas of:
- Teaching subjects for which licensure may not be required (e.g. Bible or theatre);
- Exploring education before enrolling in a graduate level middle/secondary initial licensure program;
- Becoming a director of an Early Care Center;
- Youth or children’s ministry;
- Teaching community-based adult education courses;
- Conducting professional development or vocational training;
A minimum of 20 credits required, chosen from the courses below.
