CSD 325 - Speech Sound Disorders2 credits Gives students theoretical and clinical information needed to provide services to people with speech sound disorders, including articulation and phonological delays, and speech sound disorders associated with apraxia of speech as well as structural and neuromuscular deficits seen in genetic disorders. Multicultural issues in the assessment and treatment of speech disorders will be addressed. Issues related to assessment and intervention are addressed. Students become familiar with clinical terminology and its use in written assignments.
