PSY 330 - Psychology of Religion4 credits This discussion-oriented class explores religion from the perspective of psychology, beginning with William James’s Varieties of Religious Experience. Readings explore the development of religion, personality, humility, and the afterlife. Questions include the limits of science, what is religious fundamentalism, the effectiveness of prayer, and respectful relationships with those from other religions.
