EDU 682 - Advanced Theory and Practice in Teaching Students with Moderate Disabilities3 credits This course provides advanced-level examination of assessment, including the referral concerns, components of a diagnostic battery, scoring procedures, report writing, the diagnostic and eligibility process, as well as instructional implications for students with suspected disabilities. Additionally, IEP components, development, and the special education process, including legal federal mandates regarding FAPE and LRE, are examined.
