HIS 646 - Roma Aeterna: History and Language of the World’s Greatest EmpireCredits: 3 Focus on the 200 years from 100 BC to 100 AD. Readings provide significant historical and cultural insights into daily Roman life. Connections to modern English will be made at every opportunity. Spoken Latin will be incorporated as well, engaging in pedagogical discussions for teachers interested in incorporating some Latin (or English derivatives) into curriculum. Instruction will be differentiated according to prior knowledge of the language.
