Registration Deadlines

The following summarizes the deadlines to be observed.

Deadline to register for the semester		September 1	January 20
	Summer Term: Two business days prior to start of online courses; first day of class for traditional courses.

Last day to add courses or change sections, including independent work or NECCUM cross-registration	Full Term	September 1	January 20
	Quad 1,3	September 1	January 20
	Quad 2,4	October 23	March 18

Last day to drop courses with no academic record		September 1	January 20
	Summer Term: First day of class for online and traditional courses.

Last day to withdraw from courses with a W grade*	Full Term	October 30	March 24
	Quad 1,3	September 25	February 12
	Quad 2,4	November 13	April 15
	Summer Term: Ten business days following the start of the course.

Last day to submit remaining requirements and change incomplete to a grade	From Spring or Summer term		October 14
	From Fall or January Term		March 2

A $10 fee will be charged for each withdrawal made after the fifth day of a semester. Students may withdraw from a class through the fourth week of a quad class or the ninth week of a full-semester course. A “W” will be recorded on the permanent record. After the deadline the grade may be an F.

Billing is based on total credits registered for during a semester, less refunds for courses dropped. Thus, withdrawing from a course after the 100% refund deadline does not remove hours from the tuition block. Adding a quad 2 or 4 course may increase tuition as billing is based on total hours, including withdrawals.
