Educational Leadership (M.Ed.)

The Educational Leadership program prepares licensed and experienced teachers to become school leaders. The program is categorized as follows: core courses-9 credit hours; concentration courses-15 credit hours; and capstone experience and practicum-12 credit hours. Licensure Only program is available for candidates who hold a master’s degree.

** For those seeking licensure, please complete the following: 1. Pass appropriate tests for the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure before beginning practicum including the Communications and Literacy test if not taken during initial teacher licensure program and 2. During the practicum, take EDU741 Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement for Administrators which is a required course for MA state licensure, not part of degree program. If taken prior, EDU641 Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement for Teachers can substitute for EDU741.
