HIS 295 - Christian Vocation and History4 credits Allows history majors to explore their God-given calling and develop the tools and processes to prepare for the world of work. Conceptually, it will attempt to frame a context for your future career by understanding the idea of vocation and your identity as a person made in God’s image to glorify Him in your work, primarily through the lens of being a history major. Practically, it will provide a set of tools and exercises to think about the skills developed through the major, and how to develop them alongside your own aptitudes and traits. Combined, these things will enable you to understand better the redemptive work of God in the world and the role He will have you play in this mission.
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing
