PSY 345 - Beyond Symptoms: Perceptual and Cognitive Changes in Mental Disorders

Credits: 4
When we think of psychological disorders, the first things that come to mind are often the symptoms that define them, like psychosis or disordered eating. However, many disorders are also accompanied by simpler mental changes that are more scientifically approachable, like problems in perception or in working memory. This course explores these changes in schizophrenia and other disorders.

Prerequisite(s): PSY 180  and one additional psychology course.
