SWK 201 - Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare

Introduces social work as a helping profession; includes history, values, knowledge and skill bases; addresses people in their environment and interaction of spiritual, biological, psychological and social systems with them. Highlights social work methods, settings, problem areas, client populations, social policy and institutions, and service delivery systems.
