CPS 110 - Algorithms and Machines: An Introduction to Computer Science

Credits: 4
Introduces study of computer science for nonmajor. Topics include nature of algorithms, data representation, computer architecture and expression of algorithms in modern programming languages. Also surveys history of computing, artificial intelligence and social impact of computing. Students complete significant programming project to control simple robot. (Not offered 2016-17)
