ISE 308 - Resource Management for Nonprofits

Credits: 4
Develops an understanding of both the procurement and management of resources within a nonprofit organizational context, particularly human, financial and material resources. This course explores methodologies for: 1) attracting and managing human capital, including boards of trustees, staff and volunteers; 2) fund development, fundraising management systems and constituent relations; and 3) financial management, including an introductory review of budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow management, endowment management, and basic literacy of financial statements specific to nonprofit organizations.

Prerequisite(s): ISE 205  or ISE 206
